The food was excellent I had the burger which was really tasty along with fries. What can I say about the fries they were absolutely delicious. The wife had the duck which she said melted in her mouth.

Thought the wine prices were a bit high for a so-so Chardonnay. Another wee quibble was the serviette's tiny wee things could either do with larger paper ones or have material ones, which can really make a difference to the overall feel of a restaurant. The waitress did supply an extra serviette when requested.

One thing to consider is that the restaurant is up 3 sets of steps with no lift which makes it difficult for anyone with a disability.

They quickly found a table and sat us right away. Just for that we were so thankful! Our server, Rebecca, was just so great. She gave great recommendations and was so amazing with our toddler. Our daughter still talks about their chats! The drinks were strong and tasty, and our food was delicious. There is a kids menu available. Everything we ordered tasted amazing, perfectly seasoned, and it’s obvious they use fresh ingredients. Great menu selection, and large drink menu. I highly recommend the Breaded Brie, Chicken Kyiv, and the Baked Alaska! We ended up being there right up until they closed and never once felt rushed. Shout out to Susie and Kacey who were so nice. I love seeing good teamwork in a restaurant, and these girls worked great together. Thank you all for a lovely and memorable experience. We can’t wait to visit again.

The best restaurant in Dumfries by far. I had ham hock to begin with, pork cheek's and poached pear to finish all very tasty and we will be visiting again as soon as possible

Really efficient, attentive service and the food was probably some of the best... read more I've had in Dumfries. The strawberry daiquiri as well was delicious. My husband ordered the back street stack burger which came with a fried chicken fillet, seriously they should consider selling that alone as a dish in mini fillet form because it was just sublime. My mac and cheese was hands down the best I've had eating out.

Will definitely be back for a visit again soon.
