We were a table of four and sat by the window. The staff were all extremely friendly and the service was like no other. I had the scotch egg which was amazing as always. My main was the lamb rump which was cooked perfectly. The taste was amazing and I still think about it now.
The dessert was creme brûlée which was velvety and smooth, the chef should definitely give himself a big pat on the back as the food is like no other.
I had an espresso martini which was the best I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what’s different about it but the martini beats any other restaurants by far.

The owners should be incredibly proud of the staff here as it’s like a home from home environment which I love. When I’m back up I’ll visit again. Highly recommend!

  We found this place by chance and what a find! Couldn’t fault it. The food was excellent, the staff were really helpful and friendly and not too expensive either.

A little cheese and... read more onion biscuit as soon as we sat down was a delicious appetiser and start to the meal. 2 bottles of interesting red ordered and the starters arrived a few minutes later. All cooked fresh and all piping hot. Service was relaxed, not too fast, and the waiting staff were all super friendly and helpful. I hate feeling rushed when I’m out for dinner - plenty time to talk!

Too full for dessert but we got a wee Nutella donut and some Christmassy nougat which melted in the mouth.

I had the macaroni followed by the brownie and others had burgers all of which were amazing. Every time I come to this restaurant I’m never disappointed, the staff are so attentive and friendly and the overall experience is just perfect.

  Had the chicken wings and then the mussels both cooked beautifully and great portion sizes! Finished off with the sorbet which I ate too quickly to get a photo of.
